Not everything matters equally, focus on your most important goal.
Going small: Ignoring all the things you could do and doing what you should do. Recognising that not all things matter equally and finding the things that matter the most. Extraordinary results are directly determined by how narrow you can make your focus.
— “Growth” mindset: Thinks big and seeks growth. Employs better learning strategies, experiences less helplessness. Places less limits and is more likely to reach for his potential.
— “Fixed” mindset: Places artificial limits and avoids failure.
Mindsets can and do change. Like any other habit, you set your mind to it until the right mindset becomes routine.
Don’t fear big. Fear mediocrity. Fear waste. Fear the lack of living to your fullest. When we fear big, we either consciously or subconsciously work against it. (And act bold)
Concentrate your energy, thought and capital exclusively upon the business which you are engaged. Having begun on one line, resolve to fight it out on that line, to lead in it, adopt every improvement, have the best machinery, and know the most about it. Fundamental requirement for achieving extra-ordinary results: Sticking with something long enough for success to show up.
Question to ask every day: What’s the one thing I can do such that by doing it everything else will be easier or unnecessary?
- Meditate and pray for spiritual energy.
- Eat right, exercise, and sleep sufficiently for physical energy.
- Hug, kiss, and laugh with loved ones for emotional energy.
- Set goals, plan, and calendar for mental energy.
- Time block your ONE Thing for business energy. (4 hours)
